How fast is Terry?
About 12 meters an hour, day and night. From 4 km away, that's 14 days if you stay put.
Why does DeathSnail want “Always” location?
So Terry can follow you while the app is closed. It only checks in when you move, so it barely touches your battery. “While Using” works too, but then Terry heads for wherever you last opened the app.
Terry caught me, but I'd moved.
Terry heads for the last position your phone reported. With “Always” and Precise Location on, your phone reports as you move; with “While Using”, only while the app is open. If you think it was unfair, write to us with your Terry number and we'll look into it.
What does salt do?
It stops Terry for an hour. Watch a short ad for each salt, as often as you like, one at a time.
I went away and Terry followed me.
Stay out of Terry's range (about 8.6 km) for three days and Terry hitches a ride. Terry lands at least 14 days from wherever you are.
